We have been successful in replacing the likes of Sunil Gavaskar and Kapildev.
And we got Sachin after that! This is a natural cycle.
When the time comes we will be able to replace Sachin too. More talented Sachins are in the que.
Some cricket enthusiasts(mostly ex cricketers) hate to hear the word 'retirement' when it comes to GOD, Sachin. I dont want to hear Sachin defend his cricketing ability, but I would love to hear his bat do the talking and defend his prowess.

All these years we only heard his bat do the talking, not him!
