While some sections of the party refuse to accept her as 'PURE' Maharashtrian, the larger section views this as a chance to re-iterate Shiv Sena's Marathi Manoos belief. So, Finally they decided to back Pratibha Patil. But this move by the party heads stumped Shiv Sena's senior leader Manohar Joshi, who has been nurturing the dream of Vice-President's chair. Now, BJP is no mood to support his dream!

The irony is that we want to curb the technology that brings people closer without the boundaries of caste, creed, religion or even beliefs. Student wing of Shiv Sena wants a ban on social networking website ORKUT! The reason: people use the site to post anti-Marathi and anti-Shivaji Maharaj comments. Whoever is using ORKUT for such anti-social propaganda are sick in their minds. They can use any platform for their purpose. Banning ORKUT is not a solution for such problems. Probably Orkut can co-operate with cyber-crime cells to track these people.

Let's use the technology to curb crime rather than playing into the hands of people who are misusing technology

The story is about a crack in Mumbai airport's runway.
I liked this graphic just because of the concept, which is very simple but effective.
The background is downloaded from google earth as I couldn't find a right angle of runway in Midday stock pics. And band aid strip is taken from shutterstock. And the plane had to be nameless as per our publication policy.

I found it an interesing effort. The bonus is our editor also liked it!
