Priya Dutt meets Sonia Gandhi! Why?

For the judiciary in India, Sanjay Dutt is just another convict.
Sanjay Dutt, before being shifted to Yerwada jail, said he has faith
in Indian Judiciary. The very next day, his MP-sister Priya Dutt
met Sonia Gandhi in Dehli!
What does that mean, the meeting was to influence the judiciary?
Or is it to lobbying for her brother?
Either way, it seems very unethical! Atleast when you look at many
other convicts in the 1993 bomb blast case
